You rarely hear me say f cancer, maybe its the superstition in me. As much as i hate it i also have felt that i have to respect it. But not today, a dear friend who fought her ass off passed today. We used to talk lots of Star Wars and confided in each other about the disease.

Really strong feature during the Wimbledon coverage on ESPN regarding athletes and their mental health. My kids aren’t World Class athletes but I think it’s important for them to know that if they are having these feelings it’s common and can be helped.

6 years ago i was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I go thru 6-9 months of treatments a year. I just finished a 6 month “round” Scans showed everything small. So I get the summer off! If you need a little hope today I hope this helps. There will be awful days but keep 1/2
