You’re wrong. Or at least, I’m sure you’re right in a lot of circumstances but not all. We use story points to encourage discussion from a team who traditionally rushed to implement before thinking through the work.

@philspencerz @SzMarsupial Oh yeah, definitely. Although child benefit changes over 50k but still in a better position as it’s like bringing up kids and sending them to different types of things like swimming, gymnastics and football. Which again, is something that not everyone can do.

@SzMarsupial But if you get a higher salary and go for those things you want because of it, then the stability is eroded. Going from 25k to 50k and not changing anything about your current life will make things more stable but going from single to family is a massive change.

@SzMarsupial If going from 25k to 50k means you can buy a house, then that’ll bring more stability. But then things like a wedding, kids etc just brings it back again. And those are still great things and privileges that others can’t have.
