Gus Bilirakis has turned his back on everyday Floridians, choosing instead to side with the corporate donors he’s cozied up to over nearly 20 years in Washington.

He voted to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. He voted for reckless tariffs and the disastrous war in Iran that are driving up prices — all while voting for tax giveaways to the richest corporations in America.

26 years ago, I joined the Air National Guard to serve our country and be part of something bigger than myself. I’ve served six deployments, including two to Iraq, and spent a decade caring for veterans as a VA doctor.

I resigned from the VA after seeing firsthand the result of Trump and Elon Musk’s cuts to the federal workforce: fewer resources, dedicated public servants pushed out, and veterans left to pay the price.

Now, I’m running for Congress because too many in Washington have forgotten that public service is about the people you serve, not wealthy donors and special interests.
