Congressional Democrats voted today to sell out Washington DC and their constituents, as numerous Dems backed bills advancing the Trump takeover of DC. After meeting with our Council and saying nice things, @RepJeffries and leadership *declined* to whip a No vote on the bills
The current Congress pretty much does what Trump says. DC would be an easy target for the Hill. A simple majority vote in the House and Senate would overturn our Home Rule.
