My father had a serious issue with his Amex card today around ₹2.6L was debited this afternoon in 3–4 transactions that he did not make.

UPDATE - We got to know that the scamster changed the registered email & password without any OTP. They used the CVV secret question to gain access.
@AmexIndia, this is a systemic failure. Need urgent resolution.

Hi @Google, my father’s Gmail account was compromised and used in a financial fraud (Amex). We need help reviewing account activity and restoring deleted emails. FIR filed. Reached out via support email but haven’t received a response yet.

@Google @Google Thanks for the response. He can access the account now, but there was suspicious activity on 10 Dec. We suspect unauthorized access—OTP emails used to change the bank email are missing. Request help reviewing login activity and confirming if any hacking occurred.

When he tried to open the Amex app, it showed incorrect details and just 30 minutes later, multiple transactions had already gone through without any OTP.

@Kenu73 @DealsDhamaka @imYadav31 @iSatishAgarwal @ankurmittal My father applied for a DBS credit card. During the vKYC call they asked him to screenshare, show his ID and an existing card for card-to-card limit. He showed his Amex but felt something was off and ended the call.
