It's something Nigerians are particularly good at: platforming very stupid people.

I've said this time and again. We celebrate people who troll others. We call it "savage." We share their clips on WhatsApp, repost them on social media, and reward them with attention because they're entertaining. And before you know it, they become influencers with large audiences.

We can't spend years making these people popular and then suddenly act shocked by the consequences. We helped create the very culture we're now complaining about.

This is the OLODO uprising we enabled.
