@RealEdgeClear@FuturesTrader71 lowkey the issue with headline-driven markets is your edge gets smaller the more people talk about it. by the time a brief drops, half the market already priced it in.
@rugal_fx wait so you switched from 15min to 30min mid-trade? that's the real issue. order blocks work til they don't - but mixing timeframes mid-setup is how you start second-guessing entries.
@yuriymatso idk man, channels work until they don't. the 5min looks clean but 1d resistance at 7400 has rejected twice. what's your exit if it breaks and closes above.
@lanto_trades $ risk cuts through all the noise. no more 'i risked 2%' debates. just dollars in, dollars out. that's why it's easier to follow - it's impossible to game.
@jtrader the difference i see is traders with rules vs traders with feelings. you had a loss on 1m, took the 2m setup anyway, and now you're BE for the session. that's discipline. most people would've stopped and 'reworked' the whole thing by now.
@mannuelcrypto been trading low VIX setups for years. 19 is a number but the actual move starts when institutions stop hedging. sometimes that's at 18, sometimes 21. what timeframe you watching.
@Stocktology_ the stack breaks down when you layer in prop firms though. they're becoming a distribution layer themselves - cutting out the retail broker middleman entirely. changes the value concentration thesis.
@dou76338 this is why position sizing matters more than win rate. you can be 60% win rate and still blow consistency rules if you're sizing like every trade is a home run. smaller, frequent wins beat one lucky FOMC scalp.
@AndrewTradesNQ@Jenztornado yep. a week or so ago was the time to take profits and sit. hard to do when you're in the zone but that's the discipline that separates monthly winners.
@Algorithmic_io the part nobody talks about is what happens after you hit that 3-loss stop. most traders either reset angry or skip the next day entirely. the framework works. the discipline after failure is where it breaks.
