I would argue Gunns formula works better because no DC character would be excluded. Seemed with Snyder, a lot of characters would have been shelved. Also worth noting, there were MANY flops in the Snyderverse.

Also wasn’t well received by critics and wasn’t a super smash hit with fans. Gunns DCU has been very favorable and well received by all.
