Released on an undertaking…
I was denied bail twice, jailed for almost 50 days, and fought off a rabid Ontario prosecutor who desperately wanted me in pretrial custody for the duration. He said I was a danger to society, that I would spend 10 years in prison, and that my release would put the administration of justice into disrepute.
For alleged mischief….
Perhaps once the investigations into Ontario’s rampant cop corruption have concluded, they can turn their eyes to the judiciary.
Time to switch brands of batteries!! @costcocanada@Duracell
3rd device damaged in the last 2 months from a leaky battery. Even finding leaked batteries in the package in the drawer.
@FoodProfessor You’re the professor!! You have access to more data than I do. Show me the data about the food quality being inferior. It’s easy to fear monger when you avoid truth.
@FoodProfessor The drug manufacturer does extensive trials for both animal safety and human safety. Agriculture Canada,CFIA and Health Canada review and often request additional data to ensure that an animal health product has a distinct benefit while protecting the animal and our food supply.
@ABDanielleSmith Is carbon capture technology highly efficient? Is the complete infrastructure included in the calculations? What about the environmental, ecological, and economic damage in the factory site, pipeline right of way, and storage facility?
Today is #CdnAgDay
It’s a great excuse to share our stories
Like the fact that farming only uses around 6% of the land in Canada
Yet we produce 12% of the worlds wheat
All done while continually reducing our environmental footprint!
I'm old enough to remember when a $16 glass of orange juice nearly took down our fed gov't. So I thought a review of @JustinTrudeau's scandals may be worthwhile. Only 19 of them. Which ones did I miss?
Trudeau's first term (2015-2019):
1. Aga Khan Island vacation (2016)
2. Questions concerning release from Point Grey Academy.
3. Trans Mountain pipeline expansion fiasco (2016)
4. SNC-Lavalin affair (2019)
5. WE Charity scandal (2019)
6. Blackface and brownface photos
7. Treatment of Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott (2019)
8. Election interference allegations (2019)
Trudeau's second term (2019-present):
9. COVID-19 response (ongoing since 2020)
10. Indigenous issues - clean water (ongoing)
11. Environment: Carbon Tax and other extremist policies (ongoing)
12. Early election call and minority government (2021)
13. Canada convoy protest – Emergencies Act (2022)
14. Governor General scandal (2022)
15. Freedom of the press concerns (ongoing)
16. Foreign influence in political processes (ongoing)
17. ArriveCan app $60M cost (ongoing)
18. Canada's skyrocketing debt (ongoing)
19. Open immigration and student working visas.
I’m an Albertan.
And I absolutely love this province.
We have the prairies, the mountains, hard working people, so many opportunities and one of, if not the best, Premiers in the country.
I wouldn’t want to live elsewhere.
Telling me that I despise Trudeau simply because I support Smith and live in Alberta is asinine - there are people all across Canada who despise him just as much as I do (often more so).
Because you don’t have to live in Alberta to understand that Trudeau is doing everything in his power to destroy Canada.
You don’t have to live in Canada to understand that.
You just have to be paying attention.
And there are people all across Canada who support Danielle Smith - because not only does she care about Alberta, she cares about this country.
So telling me that I don’t support Trudeau because I’m a Smith supporting Albertan isn’t the “gotcha” moment you might think it is.
And it never will be.
Because
• we’re not uneducated.
• we’re not rednecks.
• we’re not homophobic.
• we’re not transphobic.
• we’re not bigots.
• we’re not far right.
• we’re not extremists.
We’re none of those things.
We’ve just had enough.
And I’m not the only Albertan or Canadian who feels this way.
Furthermore, Trudeau has made it clear that he stands with people who are harming children and has no respect for women or the actual LGB&T communities.
Smith is fighting to protect children from people like Trudeau - people who would sooner sentence a child to life long medicalization than address the underlying mental health issues of children and/or their past traumas, people who believe replacing women with men isn’t an issue, and people who have yet to realize that there’s a difference between the LGB&T communities and the alphabet mafia.
Smith is a leader.
Trudeau is a disgrace.
So I know where I stand.
I know who I stand with.
And I don’t see that changing.
Water management isn't just about draining sloughs.
Excess rainfall at the wrong time causes crop damage and fertilizer losses.
Instead of trying to reduce fertilizer emissions by 30%, bigger-picture thinking on water mngmt would have a larger impact.
