Tendulkar's numbers in this century read 19,945 runs at an average of 49, along with 110 wickets.
Even if you remove all those numbers, his record in the previous century still stands at 14,412 runs at an average of 48, along with 91 wickets. He scored centuries in 10 different countries, amassed 1,059 World Cup runs at an average of 59, and averaged 69 in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. All of this was achieved before 2000.
I don't know on what basis this award was given. But I've always believed that Tendulkar is the SI unit of batting. Every batting achievement should be measured in x of Tendulkar.
Well done, Arjun. ❤️
Proud of the way you’ve carried yourself through this season, always believing in your ability, staying patient, working hard quietly, and remaining positive despite having to wait for your opportunity till the very last match.
Cricket tests patience as much as skill, and you handled both beautifully today.
Keep your feet on the ground, and continue being in love with the game like you always have.
Love you always.👏
