@PatStaresAt There’s a Mechanicus 2 scheduled for next year also that lets you play as both the Mechanicus and the Necrons in separate campaigns. Hopefully it ends up being solid.
@PatStaresAt Yeah that set up works and what I’ve been doing as well. Stunner to open and break poise > support to buff > then dps to pass the buff to and apply burst during the stun window. Probably will change a bit depending on the team but that setup is ideal for your current team.
@Rice06370538 @the1thfreeman@PatStaresAt There actually is a Starship Troopers coop shooter that came out last year. It just didn’t make a big splash but I heard it was alright.
@Darktide40K@warhammer@Displate Looking forward to what’s next for the game. It’s still been the time killer of choice. I still gotta hit up Maelstrom more one day.
@warhammer I started the hobby a few days before last Christmas. Here’s a couple of the better pictures of a few I’ve worked on over this last year. I started with the Necron warrior starter set and the most recent completed project was the Fellgor Ravagers Kill Team.
@PatStaresAt Certain missions like the ones where you defend multiple squads of guardsmen feel a bit overtuned while others have a good balance. Your marines actually getting stronger if they get taken out via augments does mean that things going bad can mean gains for later missions.
@PatStaresAt Difficulty definitely spikes after a point. I haven’t tried the dlc assassin units yet to see how that balances out. Mechanicus is great and sort of has the reverse progression, a bit hard at the start but much easier in the late game at least on normal difficulty.
Jumped around to a lot of smaller games throughout the year and going through most of the available Warhammer games definitely wracked up the games played stats. Good year for games though alot of solid releases. Hopefully 2024 is fun as well.
Orikan looks so good! Now just waiting for Trazyn to get his remodel.
The Night Lords look great as well. I have a lot of Kill Team projects to work on so I’ll probably pass on them for a while.
The painting competition I entered wrapped up and I was able to pick up my submissions. Here’s some cleaner shots of them since I had to turn them in immediately after finishing them. I didn’t place but it was fun to try! #warhammer40k#WarhammerCommunity#PaintingWarhammer
@jetblackraider He’s probably gotta have a pretty mean coin collection from some planets that blew up hundreds of years ago tucked into some wing of the museum.
With being at almost at a year of doing this hobby since I started late last December. I thought a fun way to end the year would be to submit a Fellgor Ravagers Kill Team and a Hexmark Destroyer to a painting contest at a local game store. #warhammercommunity#PaintingWarhammer
Been working on a Fellgor Ravagers Kill Team lately. Here’s two of the goats that are mostly done besides some small detailing touch ups and highlighting. They’ve been really fun to work on. #PaintingWarhammer
