As someone who survived self-harm and reckless coping mechanisms, Rope feels like a weirdly comforting warm hug. It sounds ridiculous to anyone who hasn't been there, but knowing I’m not the only one who ever felt that specific heavy type of broken is deeply comforting.
someone: wow that bathroom scene in knights of guinevere episode 2 was really uncomfortable to watch
Some of you: you just can't handle REAL ART ur too SENSITIVE you can't handle DARK THEMES go back to watching BLUEY
I might have said this as an understatement, because Frankie is clearly a victim of abuse by Sparky. But she’s pretty much numb to the abuse. But she still doesn’t want Andy to get hurt.
The worst thing about Chris Hargensen isn’t that she’s a bully. It’s that she genuinely thinks she’s done nothing wrong.
Her mother admits she takes after her bully of a father, but Chris keeps choosing cruelty and never shows remorse. She doesn’t just want to hurt Carrie. She thinks she’s entitled to.
That’s what makes her so disturbing.
"Omg two episodes in and kog is already better than tadc 🤓" when they're entirely different shows with completely different target audience, characters, and story
OMFG, I love the new Stolas song, Rope and once again, Bryce Pinkham made me cry with him singing as Stolas. I genuinely worry about Stolas and it reminded me of Poison with the visuals of the lyric video too. I drew some art themed to the song & I can’t for season 3 @VivziePop
convinced knights of guinevere is blowing up because there's so much artistic *INTENT* behind every visual storytelling choice and we as an audience are not used to cinematography *THIS* good out of adult animation
If the person you were in love with was about to be executed, and you were the only one who could stop it, would you let them die?
Since that's what all the anti Stolas/Stolitz people seem to be suggesting.
