🚨 BREAKING:
"My name is Joe. I'm Jewish, not a Zionist, and I want to live. So I understand that the children of Gaza want to live too. We came from New York, six hours away, because we want you all to know that. We strongly oppose the Zionist march."
WAIT… NESCAFÉ GOLD BOTTLE AS A CONTAINER?! 👀✨
Ang aesthetic pala gamitin pang-condiments! 😭🤎
Instead na itapon yung bottle, reuse it for your kitchen essentials—instant organized + elegant-looking. 🫶🏻
Small change, pero ang laki ng difference sa kitchen aesthetic. ✨
@charleneganesh liiiiiterally.. Divs and I were talking about it coz it has us feeling like, "are we next? 😵" coz it seems to be everywhere and everyone.
I want someone to dress in full black formal with shades on to stand at the back of the crowd, just far away enough to make people start questioning wtf was I doing in life.
In the past 24 hours the IDF has (all separate incidents):
1) Shot and killed a 10 year old girl who was sitting and eating lunch inside her family’s tent
2) Killed a 4 year old boy
3) Killed a 14 year old boy
4) Attacked a desalination plant
5) Attacked a Mosque and hung an Israeli flag from it
6) Continued dropping bombs on southern Lebanon
7) Israelis burned Palestinian cars and homes in East Jerusalem
And more
This isn’t out of the ordinary. This is what daily existence is like for Palestinians.
If you can’t feel for them, you have no humanity.
And if you can’t see that Israel is the major obstacle to peace in the region, then you have no critical thinking skills.
My dad passed 27 Aug 2012, I called the number when my mum woke me saying my dad wasn't breathing. lady on the line said she'd send an ambulance, we didn't live far from a hospital so they'd be there in 10 minutes.
Over the weekend, a parent driving with their children witnessed people being tied up, beaten and pushed towards a fire near the Dunoon off-ramp. They immediately called 10111 and gave the operator as much location information as possible using GPS.
Instead of helping to locate the scene and dispatching police, the operator allegedly demanded an exact address and eventually ended the call.
Four burnt bodies were later found.
The children did not only witness something deeply traumatic. They were also confronted with the frightening reality that, in an emergency, the system meant to help them may simply fail.
The call has since been reviewed, its handling reportedly found unacceptable and disciplinary action started. That quick response is welcome, but we must see the outcome.
Nicholas Gotsell MP and I have visited the 10111 centre several times. The infrastructure is ageing, some technology is unreliable or not operational, and staff work under difficult conditions. Morale is a real problem. But none of this excuses failing someone who is reporting an immediate threat to life.
This is bigger than one operator. Parliament previously recorded a dropped or abandoned call rate of 26.44% at 10111 centres. The whole service needs to be rebuilt with modern technology, live-location capability, proper staffing, training, backup power and real accountability. Properly regulated private-sector partnerships should also be considered.
If someone can order food or request a lift using their live location, surely our national police emergency service should be able to find people being murdered next to a major highway.
10111 must help callers locate an emergency, not look for reasons to reject the call. IC
You live in the shack , get R370 per month , getting sidelined in your own country and you still believe ANC loves black people ? You are not only gullible but also stupid
