Even after half a century, our country has not stepped one step forward. As long as our Govts. are controlled by the big bourgeoisie, our country is not going to step any further either. Give worker's the power to build a better future.
Worker-Peasant-Artist Unity Long Live!
#DastakDU extends solidarity to the Two Days #generalstrike2022 called by Central Trade Unions against the anti-worker policies introduced by #BJP-led Govt.
In poster, you can see Com. #Chittaprosad's illustration from 1952, which depicts the capitalist ruling class armed with chains, pistols and chauvinistic #nationalism massacring unionised workers and peasants, although workers rising up more powerful against the threat.
#DastakDU is organising a poster exhibition remembering the legacy of Com. #BhagatSingh on his martyrdom day.
Posters submitted by students on the call by Dastak-DU will be displayed along with banners and notes.
Join us in large numbers to reclaim Bhagat Singh.
Dastak-DU remembers veteran communist, historian and literary theorist Comrade EMS Namboodiripadu on his death anniversary.
Contributions of EMS to Marxist art and literary criticism, a thead:
Therefore EMS, unlike most of his contemporaries, understood the significance of a Marxist cultural movement in the ideological battle against the ruling class without conceding to the "idealist progressives" within PuKaSa.
