There are many reasons why William Branham was a false teacher, but one of the most disturbing to me is the fact that Branham almost always required someone to make a profession of faith not just in God or Jesus but in him as a prophet before he would "heal" them.

Many times he inserted himself next to the Father and the Son in a confession of faith.

"Do you believe in the Father and the Lord Jesus and in me?"

The test of one's faith in God was their faith in William Branham.

The clip below took me five minutes to make. It could be an hour long. That's how many times Branham said some version of:

"Do you believe I am God's servant? Then receive your healing."

"Will you obey me as God's prophet?"

"Do you acknowledge me as God's representative on the Earth?"

These things were not said just in the years where Branham is commonly said to have "gone into error." They were said throughout his ministry.

The truth is this: William Branham drew people to himself, not to God. He drew people to a "gift," not to the Lord Jesus.

And it's still working today. We are still talking about him. Five million people effectively worship him as a God.

T.L. Osborn called him "God in the flesh."

Sid Roth said his miracle ministry was "on par with the Bible."

What is the fruit of William Branham's ministry? The shipwrecking of millions of lives.

It's time for the truth to be shouted as loudly as the lies were.
