@LNPDogma But this discourse just because the direction was actually trying different styles doesn't mean it's ass. I wish MAPPA didn't have a hold on it so they wouldn't be so swamped and take years to drop a fucking sequel (with a healthy production).
@LNPDogma Fair enough, although Blue Lock and Bleach are much bigger than CSM in anime spaces. The biggest mistake with CSM was ending at Katana Man's arc, it did not show why it is huge in manga spaces. I agree that it wasn't as popular as they wanted it to be
@LNPDogma I feel like CSM got plenty of love outside of the internet bubble, in fact the only place where I see hatred for this anime is on this damn bird app. Usually idc about people not liking shows that's totally fine but some of the reasons I have seen for this one make no sense
@LNPDogma Before the anime was even announced I wanted the show to take this direction, because no matter how it's directed you can't imitate Fujimoto's style and panelling, that's the nature of adapting mangas, Reze movie definitely should have more colour grading tho
@LNPDogma It feels so forced to hate it to this extent, especially when Trigger can't direct anime at some point (BNA) but people are satisfied with zany choreography and fantastic colour coordination, which is what I guess what people wanted for CSM
@Announomoose_ @Krezzingbutpriv @LThanhHao232 The bosses still used super powers even if you didn't (which is what I did), can't take it seriously when Mine is spamming Kamehamehas all of a sudden
