Marcus Rashford made his Manchester United debut at just 18 in February 2016.

Since then, he has played under 9 managerial regimes:

• José Mourinho

• Erik ten Hag
• Ruud van Nistelrooy
• Rúben Amorim
• Michael Carrick again

9 regimes in 10 years.

He’s had major fallouts with Mourinho and Amorim while constantly adapting to different managers, tactical systems and expectations.

And yet some of you act like Rashford has had the same environment throughout his entire career.

At 18, he was a wonderkid.
At 25, he scored 30 goals.
At 28, he’s trying to rebuild his career.

And let's not forget the 2021 Europa League final. Rashford played against Villarreal despite dealing with a back injury.

The guy has sacrificed a lot for Manchester United, yet somehow he's always one of the easiest players to throw under the bus.

We did the same thing to Pogba under Ten Hag.

Maybe sometimes we should question the environment before making the player the scapegoat.

Rashford deserves criticism when he plays badly.

But pretending his entire decline happened in a vacuum is just lazy analysis. 👀
