WARDOGS Launch with the community! Last stream before I leave for BlizzCon.
Valheim was super fun yesterday and I want to 100% finish the hardcore run. Game is a solid 9.5/10 banger.

Finished up our group play challenge run with the community. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing Path of Exile 2 Forbidden Rites in a group, but it was riddled with issues. My main problems with group play were:
- Visibility was zero. An opacity slider for your own skills and party member abilities would be amazing.
- Quest progression desync. It made it hard to group up with new people and sometimes party members wouldn’t get credit even if they were present for the quest.
- Long loading screens if you weren’t the first to enter an encounter. You could die to bosses and mobs while this happened.
- Unit collision was a bit much, especially when playing with certain builds like Grim Pillars.
- Tons of random bugs, that I hope get fixed before 1.0
Forbidden Rites Event Launch! Since there are no balance changes or new bosses, I’m using this as an opportunity to host a community leveling event and try out multiplayer for the first time!

Rolled credits on Crimson Moon. This should have shipped as Early Access, not 1.0. In the first 10 minutes you find missing basics that tank first impressions: no keybinds or mouse sensitivity, a wonky camera, and a lack of basic QoL. Other than that, the combat is decent, some bosses are cool, build variety is decent (Balance is not the best), the graphics are acceptable, and multiplayer is full of random bugs and inconveniences. Overall, if things get fixed, it’s not a bad $20 game, but it should never have released like this.
Tarae, a new ARPG that was announced at Gamescom!
- Combat seems fluid and graphics look crisp
- Confirmed to be live service
- 80+ bosses, and the ones shown resemble PoE2/Soulslike combat
- Customization seems to have depth with individual skill trees, passive trees, skill gems/runes, and altars (swappable character buffs)
- Haven’t seen much of the gearing/itemization
- Multiplayer but solo only campaign(Hopefully they change this, some people have friends)
- Based on Eastern mythology
- 6 classes at launch
Overall it seems promising and something I am going to keep my eye on.
