Not sure how well it’ll go, but going to try and track EA mistakes this year for EAFC26.
I may post things that aren’t critical but mistakes nonetheless
So here we go!

Moyes' sudden love for McNeil is a baffling one. Seemed to have bombed him out at the start of the season, he's done nothing to justify a second chance since and yet starts out of position and regularly disappoints while Dibling is sat on the bench.
@InsideCarolina This is a job for @Meisarch who did a great job for @Everton and their new stadium while keeping in touch with the fan base and history of Everton
@beastmodeprods@fut_trader_D@TheArmellica The community really needs to stop getting stuck on gameplay and focus on this/learn more about servers and their impact to the application layer (the game). you can have perfect gameplay coding but if the servers aren’t right. Then gameplay would still be f’d. Basic OSI model.
@MarcFUTTrader These guys can't even code time change correctly yet here we are deep in the weeds thinking they can code and MAINTAIN through EVERY PATCH update and crap ass servers a perfect DDA code 😭😭😭
EA SPORTS FC 26 version 1.2.0 will soon be available for all versions of FC 26.
Full TU notes have been posted on the EASFC Tracker.

@beastmodeprods Great write-up sir 🫡
I'm working on an issue at work where pings and traceroutes all look clean, but then on customer server its still dropping packets - something end users can't see at all... but you're fighting the good fight for the end user side
Earlier today Club Members were granted the Star in Motion EVO, which had missing restrictions for Silver Superstar Player Items, as well as an issue impacting the level 1 assist challenge. This has since been resolved.
We have addressed an issue affecting the Level 4 Challenge “Score at least 1 Low Driven Goal in 2 separate matches” of The Undead Lion EVO, not tracking progress. The requirements for this Challenge have been updated.
FC26 Patch – What Actually Changed (Not What X Says (MY OPINION))
Every big patch, the same cycle starts.
“EA killed dribbling.”
“Defenders are 3x faster.”
“They’ve turned it into FC25 again.”
But after a full Champs run and ~30 Rivals games, that take doesn’t hold up. The patch didn’t kill attacking play - it rebalanced the game around decision-making instead of mechanic abuse.
Here’s the reality 👇
✅ Kick-off goals fixed – Long overdue. Unless you make a horrendous error, you won’t concede from kick-off anymore. That’s how it should be.
✅ Manual defending actually matters – Jockey speed and responsiveness have been tuned for the better. If you know how to press manually, you can suffocate players. If you don’t, you’ll still get torn apart.
✅ Through balls now reward accuracy – They’re less assisted, but more true to your input. You can genuinely thread the needle now if your angle and power are right.
✅ Run logic is miles better – Attackers curve runs, time them properly, and don’t stack on top of each other. Everything feels more human and less “on rails.”
✅ Aerial play is quietly emerging – Traps, flicks, and headers are more consistent. There’s a layer of variety now that most people haven’t noticed yet.
❗ R1 Dribbling was over-nerfed.
This is the one clear miss. The nerf needed to happen - R1 was a crutch that let people skip actual build-up play - but EA went too far. It’s still effective, just not reliable enough to use consistently. Halving the nerf would’ve been the sweet spot.
❗ Tackles from behind still need ironing out, and corners are improved (lob to the back post glitch) but not perfect (standing starts still remain an issue outside of kick offs).
But to say this patch “removed the skill gap” is lazy.
It didn’t remove it - it shifted it.
The gap isn’t about who can spam R1 or abuse animation cancels anymore. It’s about who can read the game, time their press, and pick their moments to dribble, not just that they dribble.
What content creators and the echo-chamber on here calls “defenders being overpowered” is really bad habits getting exposed.
The game finally rewards balance - not button mashing.
TL;DR - I think the patch was actually decent. R1 over-nerfed, hopefully addressed, most other things positive.
