📢📢 Update: Two Stage Rollout Plan!

What we're going to do is release Standard V17 to users and pools early to late May.

Then an Enterprise V17 for exchanges a few weeks later, after we've had plenty of testing and wallet migrations.

BDB 4.8 to 18.1 is a massive upgrade and this approach will eliminate risk to huge exchange wallets.

This is a massive upgrade that puts $GLC on the cutting edge with perhaps the most modern wallet in the industry.

Our team of developers and AI is working nonstop to deliver V17 this quarter.

This is a major modernization update that maintains backward compatibility with previous releases.

The finishing touches are now being applied to the mining code, wallet migration, and Windows GUI. 🧑‍💻

We made excellent progress on V17 mining today. It was able to find 2 blocks on https://t.co/k9DJqUtlCf before forking away from the network.

There is still some incompatibility between the newly C++ 23 refactored client and existing V15 nodes which use boost and C++ 3. But we are rapidly closing the gap!

Sorry for the delay. We've bumped up this release until next month. I've updated our Roadmap today to reflect our current release estimates.

We were forced to reduce costs to conserve treasury resources and have cut AI spend by about 50%, which is part of the reason for the delay.

Once the overall markets adjusts from bearish, we can increase R&D spend to previous levels of around $1K per week.
