@yabaleftonline She likes Alex but just for fun
Keeps Chris because he’s a nice guy and maybe taking care of her financially and possibly a sweet boy so they call them but she doesn’t love him at all
The thing that strikes me most about this conversation is how surprised people act when a woman openly admits she married her husband because he could provide what she needed at the time and now wants to leave because that provision has dried up.
Let’s be honest many relationships today are built on transactional foundations, even if we dress them up with pretty words. A lot of women (and some men too) stay not because of deep, unconditional love, but because of the lifestyle, security, or benefits they receive. They may admire intelligence, humor, or emotional connection, but those things often remain secondary if the material provision disappears. When the “season” of lack hits and every man will face one the relationship gets tested, and the true foundation is revealed.
A great relationship isn’t one where love exists only when everything is comfortable. Real love and partnership mean choosing each other even when the bills are hard, the dreams are delayed, and life gets heavy. It’s about becoming a team that weathers storms together, not jumping ship when the provider role falters.
Men, choose wisely. Look for a woman whose love is rooted in who you are, not just what you can do for her. And women, build your own security and emotional resilience so your love isn’t conditional on someone else’s success. True intimacy grows in the trenches, not just in the good times.
Let’s stop pretending shock when these truths come out. Instead, let’s use moments like this to demand higher standards for ourselves and the relationships we build.
@NkeonyereSpeaks Do they even have proper conversations??
Trust me they don’t 😂
All both parties talk about is when are we seeing(male)?
The kind of hair they want(female)
Gifts, unnecessary arguments.
I bet you some don’t even know their genotype and blood group
Wanting a kind, soft, consistent, and well-mannered man is beautiful 😍 no argument there.
But the real question is, does a woman who desires such a man have what it takes to keep him? Men with these qualities are rare, and they come with standards. They are often disciplined, intentional, and grounded in their values.
They don’t chase trends or bend to every emotional wave. They set boundaries though, these days, boundaries are often mislabeled as “control.” They think logically, act with purpose, and expect mutual respect.
And let’s be honest… they’re not exactly the type to subscribe to the whole “I’m just a girl” excuse when accountability is needed. 😂
Any man who does this shows a lack of strength not just in character, but in self-worth.
More often it reflects a deeper issue, a man without clear direction, purpose, or emotional grounding. It can also point to unresolved wounds could be from rejection or a lack of genuine love earlier in life.
When a man understands his value, he doesn’t compete for attention or beg for affection he naturally attracts respect, or he walks away.
@babaken_0@ToochukwuVicto4 Do you also realize that will make you love the person half heartedly?
Because you’re already accepting that this might go wrong so don’t just expect much
