1. There’s more than $42MM to be made by being in office
2. Money matters so little to this person that we shouldn’t fall for emotional media stunts like forgoing a $275K salary
@lefelstein@arielkozicki It does take money to win political races but are we really trying to make the case that a mayoral candidate needs to spend more money on advertisements than several retailers doing >$200MM in revenue spend per year? Or 6.5X times the next highest spending candidate?

@arielkozicki Caruso would get plenty of coverage for spending that directly on solving homelessness and with all his celebrity endorsements, he shouldn’t worry about exposure.
