@PhilKocher He’s arguably the league’s best center prospect. You could add Cuylle, Schneider, and Perrault (who all provide nice value) and Grier still likely declines.

I do think we will trade Edmonton’s 1st for Schneider, which I don’t like, but I get it.

@FriedgeHNIC In the discussion of Hoffman Ott->SJ->FLA you forgot to mention the EK65 trade a year later. In that trade, if SJ had moved UFA Karlsson to an East team (perhaps even if he played for an eastern team?) the sharks had to give an extra 1st. Bet COL wished they did that with Mikko.
