@Martin35895@mynodebtc Just the cost of electricity for a small server. So, there's hardware cost and a few dollars per month. Check out @start9labs for an easy solution. Full disclosure: I work with them, but I really do love the product as well
@chetan_kaul For your node, definitely go with @start9labs
Best support in the biz. You don't have to buy a server to use startOS, but I'd recommend it for sure. It's nice to have a little mini-pc built from the ground up with bitcoin and sovereign computing in mind.

@calvinfroedge I know you've thought about this for a while. Aside from the $2400 fee, the taxes on overall wealth would be pretty brutal no? I expect you've figured out a way to minimize that. Care to illustrate what that could look like for someone who'd hypothetically want to renounce?
@AltsQ This was guaranteed after the Catalan compromise. It's a weird and shitty state of things. Lots of hate, not a lot of reason or fairness. Each side pulling some pretty dirty legal (and illegal) tricks to win. Still, I like it better than the USA
@hackerswagger They had to have physical access to his laptop unlocked to prove it. Also most wallets now will generate a new receive address for each transaction. This kind of tracing is no longer a problem. BTC has had several privacy improvements & there are cryptos that are privacy focused
