My op-ed published by @inkstickmedia argues that privacy laws shouldn't just protect elites - we need comprehensive protections for all. https://t.co/9YRvyYpxzJ
The EU’s Digital Services Act (#DSA) is a first-of-its-kind regulatory framework, and expected to set an international benchmark for regulating online intermediaries and improving online safety.

I look forward to hearing from the always-insightful @hartzog at today's Senate Judiciary Oversight Hearing on "AI: Legislating on Artificial Intelligence." I will tweet out any AI and privacy/security discussions.

Governor Carrney has signed the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (HB 154) into law, making Delaware the 12th state (and 6th this year) to enact broad consumer privacy legislation.
Time for the ceremonial @futureofprivacy updating of the patchwork.
The "new" EU-US Data Privacy Framework is sooo much a 1:1 copy of the #PrivacyShield -- they even forgot to rename the link in the footer: https://t.co/SyamOFdpSq
As the focus on artificial intelligence #AI policy continues, the logical foundational step is acting on a federal comprehensive data privacy & security law. @sward6 & I explore this for @PrivacyPros. @RSI#IAPP Check it out here: https://t.co/pAX0m9Ik1Y
Communist China has declared its goal of becoming the global leader in AI by 2030.
We need to carefully consider how this would impact human rights as it pertains to data privacy and surveillance.
Privacy is a basic human right and isn't meant to be restricted.
However, digital citizens are gradually losing their privacy. Luckily, we've found a solution.

I hate that the @joerogan v @PeterHotez v. @elonmusk v. @mcuban bullshit is flooding my timelines. This is 2023 no one debates in good faith anymore. Take that to the DMs.
It looks like ADPPA carveouts for data brokers serving law enforcement agencies are being discussed. I will be following these developments. For more insight, check the next reply for some of my work in this area. #DataPrivacy#ADPPA#lawenforcement
@universedvst @inreGray The entire cleaning fees goes to the cleaner (unless it’s a mom and pop cleaning their own homes). Go hire someone to do a move-out clean and see how much they charge. We charge guest $150, but pay cleaners $250. If it’s excessive dirtiness, we have to pay our cleaners more.
@inreGray I don’t think having a dog at an accommodation you paid for is disrespectful either. I do think leaving excessive dog hair is disrespectful. Same with dog waste or leaving your kids crayon drawings on the wall or cigarette butts outside… etc… etc.
🚨Texas joins Iowa, Indiana, Montana, & Tennessee as the 5th state in 2023 to advance baseline #privacy legislation.
