I remember all the ABUSE I got for backing Asare because of the disrespect he got. It's tough but it won't stop me. If someone is better than him, yes that person should be in post if not he deserves every good thing he's getting.
@OseiFosu_IK@Scott_Geelan Kessben fm kumasi sports journalist especially sir franko also said the same thing by inviting someone from America to come and tell us asare don't have the exposure because he hasn't been in the post before in a big stadium. Shame on them!!
Not too long ago, you joined many Ghanaians in calling on politicians to fix this country. Now they’re taking steps to reclaim and nationalise parts of our mineral resources for the national interest, and you’re taking money to frustrate the whole process?
I really don't understand the concept of jealousy, like bro.... I look at people doing better than me as inspiration, I learn from others, and I want my circle to win too.
Ghana Successfully Concludes IMF Extended Credit Facility Programme and Transitions to a Non-Financing Technical Assistance Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI)
This milestone represents the restoration of macroeconomic stability and debt sustainability, well ahead of the original timeline.
Following the derailment of the IMF financial bailout programme at the end of 2024, the government of President John Mahama in 2025 acted decisively to bring it back on track and to recalibrate it by implementing a frontloaded fiscal consolidation, bold expenditure rationalisation, and strong structural reforms.
These efforts have delivered tangible results: inflation has reduced significantly, the cedi has strengthened markedly, public debt as a share of GDP has declined sharply, and economic growth has rebounded strongly.
Ghana’s sovereign credit ratings have improved significantly from restricted default (Junk Status) to ‘B’ with a positive outlook, representing five distinct rating levels upgrades.
This reflects improved fiscal performance, normalised creditor relations, stronger external buffers, and renewed market confidence.
Ghana’s gross international reserves have risen to an all-time high, reaching approximately US$14.5 billion by February 2026, almost 6-months of import cover.
These foreign exchange reserve buffers provide Ghana with the capacity to withstand external shocks and stand on its own feet!
Ghana closes a defining chapter with the successful conclusion of the IMF Extended Credit Facility Programme, marking a major milestone in the government’s economic recovery and stability agenda.

Ibrahim Mahama’s Damang Gold Mine Limited sells 100% of its first gold output to GoldBod, BoG in historic move
In a bid to support foreign reserves accumulation, Ibrahim Mahama’s Damang Gold Mine Ltd. has sold 100% of its first gold output to the Ghana Gold Board.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, @SammyGyamfi_ , received the team from Damang Gold Mine at the GoldBod Assay Lab at the Accra International Airport earlier today, where he briefed the media about the historic transaction.
He noted that having Ghanaians at the helm of the country’s minerals and mining sector is key to maximizing national benefits and driving economic transformation.
The Chief Executive Officer bemoaned the low contribution of large-scale mining companies to foreign reserve accumulation efforts of government and urged other large-scale mining companies to emulate the good example set by the Damang Gold Mine. This he said is imperative for the actualization of the objects of the Ghana Accelerated National Reserve Accumulation Program (GANRAP) launched by government and approved by Parliament.
The first output of the Damang Gold Mine delivered to the GoldBod is about 110KG. The gold will be assayed, valued and purchased by the GoldBod for and on behalf of the Bank of Ghana, refined and added to the Central Bank’s gold holdings.
