Happy Halloween, @JPosnanski. I told my wife you were one of maybe two people in the country who would understand our costume theme for the year (her idea, btw!). Prove me right :)
Luckily another passenger volunteered their glucometer. This shouldn’t have to happen. Taking vitals and checking a blood sugar is useful/relevant almost always. Hard to intervene effectively without this data. Thx for your help. #airlinesandairplanes#Medical#AmericanAirlines
Hey @AmericanAir - I was responding to an in-flight medical issue the other day and wanted to ask you to up your game on your med kit. Couple problems myself and the other volunteer ran into: (1/3)
No pulse oximeter, automated BP cuff wouldn’t work (tried on multiple people, even flight attendants say that other medical volunteers have found it useless - just give us a regular cuff), stethoscope is low quality and useless with typical cabin noise, no glucometer (2/3)
With #HurricaneIota forecast to be a whopper, I have to wonder: if we end up having to retire Iota as a hurricane name, much like Ike and Katrina, what happens in the future when we get back to Iota’s place in the Greek alphabet? 🤔
@mtlgazette in your 6/4 story about a Trois-Rivieres school that had a classroom hit hard by COVID-19, I didn’t see any mention if masks were in use in the classrooms. Do you know if they were? This is an important data point.
Spent a good chunk of time today at the @EmersonHospital respiratory lab messing around with the Macgyvilator Mk2. It’s putting out 450+ mL of tidal volume and has an I:E of 1:2.7 or so. I think this one’s a winner. #macgyvilator#COVID19#coronavirus#ventilator

Yeah - so this came out from the The Wall Street Journal: . While I'm not surprised, I am disappointed. Society is slowly getting wise to the concept of personal-data-in-exchange-for-free-services, but I think this represents somet…https://t.co/9ckf4YKAbU https://t.co/PQkaJF8jzw
@BenHatke We had no opportunity for pictures on Thursday, so we bribed the kids with more Halloween candy to get re-dressed for pics today #zitathespacegirl#mightyjack
Spent several days with Philips last week at TCT 2019 helping to demo some BioBright capabilities. Got great feedback from a number of physicians and confirmation of a couple product hypotheses. A big thank you to Philips for letting us tag along! For tho…https://t.co/tdpYbWaRDU
Enjoying the talks at today’s Voice of Healthcare summit in Boston (despite a little PTSD from being close to Children’s). Great lineup. Ping me if you’d like to meet up and chat! #vohsummit19
