Reminder: It took Bungie the best part of a day to remove extra drops and even disable the encore activity due to its unintended high loot rates.

It has taken them the entire 1st content cycle to add 1 drop to 2-3 activities for the next update.

With the other they ran an arms week event that included old system hand cannons.

It's just dawned on me.

Edge of fate so far in terms of loot and activities

Campaign
Raid
Sieve
Trials

Everything else is part of the F2P, even third iteration is free at level 70 season and the power grind is the exact same there too.

Ash & Iron is it's own pass / season.
