I know EXACTLY where this photo was taken and may have pedaled a police bike right past it at the end of a home game - when the stadium was empty, of course.
The VMS 6th Grade participated in the First Annual Trail Trip to kick off the school year! Students chose to bike, walk, rollerblade, ride scooters, or skateboard. They left Vernon, traveled to Hindman Road, and stopped at Waldo's Rock for a snacks on the way back. #MISDInspire
I just saw one of my Boulder Peak 6th graders riding a bike AND WEARING A BIKE HELMET in 95° weather!
So, I pulled over and gave him one of these as a token of my appreciation.
Safety – always!

We recognized Broc at a reception last week by awarding him our Lion Pride Award- Going the Extra Mile. Congratulations, Broc, and thank you for your support of Linn-Mar! #WeAreLinnMar
@Clyde_Walker_@CaitlinClark22 She is repping the NIKE Sabrina 1’s (Sabrina Ionescu) but she’ll soon be wearing a signature pair of the (yet to be released) Caitlin 1’s. (We will ALL be wearing those by year end!!)
Without a doubt, Lavie is the absolute best National Anthem singer that I have EVER heard, in person.
If I need to call my friends at Kinnick to get her there for an Iowa FB game, I will.
She is just that amazing and will give you goosebumps.
How cool is this? Linn-Mar Alumn Lavie Mzuma sang the Nat’l Anthem last night at the NCAA IA women’s game vs West Virginia! In fact she has sang at several home IA womens and men’s games this season and many at UNI! If you have not heard her sing you need to! Her voice is a gift!
We are hosting a @FBILEEDA Supervisor Leadership Institute @LinnCountyEMA this week and nine of our employees are attending the training to further their leadership skills.
