@ENortonHistory With the demise of Context Learning, where might I find you giving Zoom lectures? I went back in your timeline, but couldn't find anything.
@DrLindseyFitz Oh, well, not quite the right type of thing, but Agincourt: The Battle of the Scarred King by Michael Livingston. I mean, it's a thriller and it's kept me awake. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@medievalguy It did. I mean, we get taught Agincourt in England, certainly did when I was a kid anyway; so we kind of know, intellectually, that it was a bloodbath. Still, it's different when it smacks you upside the head like that. Thank you, I guess?
@medievalguy I'm just after reading Agincourt and have just read your 'cold maths is brutal'. I think it's time for a break and a mug of tea. Brutal indeed.
@sarajcox "Cow! Another cow!"
"Actually, I think that's the same one."
And from the same film, "We've got cows!"
My boy and I would quote that all the time when we saw cows whilst out and about. It's from Twister.
@Tichpzticoyxzho I'm not in there as often, these days for sure. But I'm in Threads too, especially because the Muskrat is talking about charging everyone for this shite.
The AstroTurfers ride again. After almost six months of silence "Restore Trust" pops up again hoping to elect their people to the National Trust council...
