@JeanManguy @IsabelleStevant I found a funny example of this in a paper: "an HIV envelope protein...". I would have written this sentence as 'a HIV envelope protein'. I pronounce my Hs harshly, like "Heych", whereas many other Nationalities pronounce it as 'A-ch', hence the 'an HIV'.
