@sagathena @kjngamer For an title that has the same protagonist for so many years it's harder to change, that's why Dante still appears in all games. Wanna change protagonist? Best way is to do it without backlash is change the title.

@sagathena @kjngamer I can't talk about all of those but Assasins Creed was based in that logic since second game, same with Resident Evil. They didn't kept the same char for 20 years. DMC I remember Nero receiving an lot of backlash in DMC4 and Dante still is a playable character in all games.

I'm an gamer, but I'm more strategy games and I don't keep up with awards. I know what God of War is through 2 decades of history, I didn't know what Control is.

@kjngamer Yeah but in comparison, nobody knows. God of war is a series with more than 20 years of history, even some non gamers knows it exists. Control is from 2019 I think, changing an core character in an franchise with decades, people will complain, it's not the "God of War"
