We spend all this time bingeing shows, books, films, etc. all stories about a very limited cast of characters, yet do we ever realize that we need to focus on the same few real characters in our own lives? The true fantasy is us not taking them for granted
A belief that really solidified for me this year is that if you are a romantic, and want to see the world full of magic and love, you have to create it.
Host the dinner party, send the flowers, write the note, share the compliment, put up the decorations, plan the outing, so on and so forth.
The default state of life is decay. To create a world that is warm and wonderful and one you and others want to participate in, you really have to work at it.
The good news is, it doesn't take that much work at all.
"Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
Okay enough with Bon Iver it's never gonna happen Bon Iver isn't real those lyrics are fucking shit smeared on toilet paper that doesn't dissolve just stop clogging the cesspool okay
@JOHNMAUS Oh wow the 234 looks so similar to my 246, but a rack version! And seems like *the sound* is kinda an inverse James Brown thing, instead of half-step up you go down. Curious how you feel about composing a half-step higher than the master, does the sheet music match the final?
The commodification of video, audio, text and cement will leave you begging on your knees for the great propaganda filter to return quality back to the top of the shitheap
@X Hey @X, have you ever considered making some sort of browser (or extension) type app that allows X to float like a comments section over *any* website? You're the only platform that might be able to make such a feature not into a flop. It could actually catch on if done well.
