@RealMattA_ About the only application that makes any sense for EV's or hybrids is unts that are base only usage, never to be deployed in an actual combat zone. Combat zones are a whole bunch bigger than they used to be, no "safe" rear echelons now.

@JasminLaine I'd venture a guess the big money is going into the ME at present, to build the pipelines and facilities to relieve the dependence of the Gulf states on the Strait of Hormuz. Halliburton and Chevron just took over Russian assets in Iraq too.

An #industrial carbon tax doesn't stay at the factory gate. It works its way into supply chains, prices, investment decisions and, eventually, your wallet.

Politicians can spin the narrative all they like. Investors, manufacturers and employers still have the final vote. They cast it with their cheque books, and moving vans.
