@AlexionIQ And yes, I can do one, I gladly will, because I think you’re at a point where you think you’re a lot bigger than what you actually are. I hope you see some sense and get back on track to what you’re good at, and you used to be very good at it for what it’s worth.
As soon as you start claiming that you earn more from your hobby than people actually trying to make a living. That’s game over. Sorry, but choose your deflections much more carefully.
@AlexionIQ Indeed. Negative because I completely disagree with the tone you were taking because I for one know that a you’re much better than that and b, it was very uncalled for. I completely support you on most things, but not that. Like I said, you’re a much better creator than that.
@AlexionIQ Do you know the funny thing? Up until the last two sentences I was nodding in agreement. But then for some reason you cannot resist having a pop at someone who has actually supported you in the past. You can do way better way friend. I know this.
Hanging up the (virtual) boots. FIFA 23 to FC26 has been an interesting time after a long absence since I played back in 13 but the franchise has gone beyond stagnant. It’s genuinely awful and I’ve seen nothing in 27 that makes me even think about ordering.
Gartner coined a phrase (as they love to do) called the Hype Cycle. We’re seeing it live with the recent acclaim of Goals and efootball. It’s common but extremely amplified on social media. What starts as nothing but praise will inevitably turn into flaws being highlighted…
It’s a difficult one because it suits me perfectly due to time. However, I’ll be on 900 tokens after refresh (already spent 1000) without playing a game due to pending rewards etc. A couple of SBC’s and that’s the allocation done. More tokens then become a waste.
I dont get why we have a Token limit (1000) per week!
We got 1530 Tokens this week. 1230 via gameplay. 300 via SBCs.
Lets say the amount of Tokens we get per week is always round about 1500. Why should someone who is willing to offer his time to play SQB, Rivals, Rush and Friendlies + offering coins/fodder to complete Token SBCs not be rewarded with more Tokens than someone "just" doing some Friendlies, Rivals and complete the cheaper Token SBCs? Makes no sense to me! We are in june, no one is forced to play everything (I would not play Rush for example either way and SQB I would not play every week too), but if someone spends the time on the game to complete everything, he should have an "advantage" compared to someone who is doing the "minimum (1000 Tokens)" (which is enough already for most).
This is where “content” will get very interesting. Honestly, I don’t envy creators one bit, it’s a tough gig for sure but as always it’s worth having a critical eye open on what was said before, to what is said when the hype cycle dies right down.

You’ll also see creators, and wannabes head straight for the gold rush. I’m already seeing more critical opinions on my timeline, very natural and at some point in the future we’ll arrive at the slope of enlightenment (a real term) where things balance out.
Now speaking of tokens. Spent the first 1000 on this guy, the 3 x 93 FoF pack and I think pack 4 as well. I like the mixture of guaranteed and pack rewards, very good direction and I’m interested to see how this is applied in 27, same for the separate champs rewards.
