@ZackMann1997 You people are nuts. Muncy was where he was supposed to be and was expected to be. Vargas was not. When the pitcher was late, Vargas should have slid in the bag. Most first basemen do. I know this because the ARIZONA MANAGER blamed Vargas for exactly that reason.

You are probably right. The knife being in the bag, the multiple requests for him to leave a place he was not entitled to be and the statement: “Touch me and see what happens”, make the determination more difficult than you suggest. Don’t think it rises to CM but closer than you suggest.

As for “walking” if charged with CM doesn’t Texas allow for conviction of lesser but charged offenses?
