@BarrieEditor1 So sorry to hear that Barrie had passed away. We only met a few times, despite both of us living in St Albans for most of our lives. He struck me as someone who was kind and positive, and who lived and breathed comics. My condolences to his family and many friends.

Training myself to spot the Silver Age lettering greats. Ira Schnapp had a more classic, refined style, Gaspar Saladino was looser, more expressive. Also by the late '60s Saladino was made the main logo & ad designer, Schnapp was 'retired' by DC in '68 & died shortly after.

@davegibbons90 drew this spectacular, one-off original #Rorschach print, (and pencil) for me when I was working on the film #Watchmen in London, 2006.

It is the pride of my Hollywood memorabilia collection.
