NEW INFO from @DAErieCountyNY, which has scheduled a presser for 3 pm. Just horrific stuff
It is alleged that on Tuesday, June 1, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Cheektowaga Police officers responded to a residence on Ellen Drive. Police found three victims, a 26-year-old female, 4-year-old boy and 3-year-old boy, deceased inside of the home. The defendant is accused of intentionally causing the death of his wife and two children.
It is further alleged that earlier on Tuesday, June 1, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Buffalo Police officers responded to a store on the 1000 block of Grant Street near Military Road for a reported shooting. The victim, 45-year-old male, died at the scene. The defendant is accused of intentionally causing the death of the store clerk.
Multiple sources tell me the suspect in custody is the husband/father in this tragedy. He is expected to be arraigned this evening in Cheektowaga Town Court on first-degree murder.

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend
In April, Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight hosted 37 veterans on a life-changing trip to Washington, D.C. They represent each branch of the military, serving during the Vietnam, Korean and Cold wars. The organization invites media along to document the trip for veterans, and @news4buffalo has been a proud partner for years. I joined videographer Dan Holland, who’s traveled with the group several times, on the spring trip. As you’ll see, it had quite the impact.
