Methodically Building Freedom 🗽
Mental Freedom • Financial Freedom • AI Systems that free time

I’ve been methodically building freedom since 2013
It all started with two real estate flips to raise capital. On the second, I did a 1031 exchange into my first two passive rentals in 2015. From there I used the BRRR method to scale to 14 rental properties by 2019, which allowed me to leave my 9–5 in school counseling.
I then built a mental health practice that is becoming more passive each year. My role is vision and backend systems. Designing operations, installing structure...increasingly leveraging AI.
None of this happened quickly, or by accident. It required a hard look in the mirror. I had to evaluate my habits, justify them or eliminate them, and confront the difference between what felt comfortable and what actually moved the needle. Growth meant living outside my comfort zone. Discipline had to win over convenience, repeatedly. So I stopped relying on intention and started relying on measurement. What gets tracked improves. What doesn’t gets exposed.
A father. A veteran. An entrepreneur. An investor who builds vehicles to accelerate freedom for other operators.
Virgo deploys capital into founders who are ready to build, but lack institutional backing.
Confidere installs the financial structure, operational discipline, and systems that make those founders scalable and investable.
We don’t just fund ideas.
We engineer independence.
Mental freedom.
Financial freedom.
Entrepreneurial freedom.
Methodically building freedom. Let’s ride.
I just vibe coded a MailChimp replacement with an added basic CRM that has the features my business needs in under 4 hours.
But yeah..."SAAS is dead" is just word play lol

Jordan Spieth won the Masters in his 2nd ever start
Rory McIlroy won in his 16th start after failing time and again even though he was the best player in golf for a few of them
Which victory do you think is sweeter?
Judging by their reactions post match, it was Rory’s
Failure isn’t failure…you’re moment just hasn’t come yet

5 days into testing Claude for content analysis. Results so far: middling accuracy, but the process taught me how I actually evaluate ideas vs how I think I do. The tool isn't groundbreaking yet, but my understanding of my own workflow just leveled up. This is how exploration works
The best operators I know aren't the ones who avoid chaos...they're the ones who stay curious inside it. When everything's shifting, your brain needs new inputs to stay sharp. That's why I'm testing AI tools even when I don't have time for it. Exploration is maintenance
