In 1992, Clint Eastwood made his final Johnny Carson appearance, with David Letterman there too.

Letterman thought he was pretty cute giving Clint grief for not wearing a tie. The audience booed, and Clint’s comeback later in the interview was perfect.

Lesson learned, don’t mess with Clint Eastwood.

Rare footage shows U.S. Marines from Hotel Company, 2/5 Marines advancing under fire to seize a Viet Cong-held headquarters during the Tet Offensive. Moving through buildings and into an open courtyard, Marines engage enemy positions with grenades and M16 fire as mortars impact nearby.

The clip captures both the assault and its aftermath — wounded Marines treated, Viet Cong fighters killed, captured, and evacuated, and the VC flag torn down and replaced with the U.S. flag.
