November 8, 1989 vs the Bulls in the first home Timberwolves game at the Metrodome. @WolvesCrunch makes his first appearance, submitted without comment
But @NoPantsCrunch might want to know about it
As a proud West Virginian, I don’t know how often this has happened on network TV, but two native Mountaineers on the same hit show? Gotta be pretty darn rare! Joyce DeWitt (Wheeling) and Don Knotts (Morgantown) both owned the screen on Three’s Company , Janet Wood and the one and only Mr. Furley.
A traditional American folk song, brought to commercial success by The Animals in 1964, became one of the classic hits and is often considered the "first folk rock hit".
David Letterman picked the wrong guy to tease this night.
In 1992, Clint Eastwood made his final Johnny Carson appearance, with David Letterman there too.
Letterman thought he was pretty cute giving Clint grief for not wearing a tie. The audience booed, and Clint’s comeback later in the interview was perfect.
Lesson learned, don’t mess with Clint Eastwood.
He made my day.
Footage from the 1969 AFL-NFL Draft from the Belmont Plaza Hotel in New York
Interesting banter between three titans — Howard Cosell, Jack Whitaker, and NFL Films founder Ed Sabol 🚬
It was bizarre watching Rick Aguilera jog in from the bullpen after being traded mid-game to the visiting Red Sox.
He earned the save against the Twins the next night.
Here’s an awesome video of a bunch of kids from New York City sharing their thoughts on the New York Yankees releasing The Great Bambino, Babe Ruth.
Crazy to think these lads are like 8-12 years old and they probably could kick my ass without breaking a sweat. The year is 1935x.
Battle of Huế – US Marines Assault Enemy HQ, Capture Viet Cong (1968)
Rare footage shows U.S. Marines from Hotel Company, 2/5 Marines advancing under fire to seize a Viet Cong-held headquarters during the Tet Offensive. Moving through buildings and into an open courtyard, Marines engage enemy positions with grenades and M16 fire as mortars impact nearby.
The clip captures both the assault and its aftermath — wounded Marines treated, Viet Cong fighters killed, captured, and evacuated, and the VC flag torn down and replaced with the U.S. flag.

The GREATEST Playoff Upset!
Imagine if the Vikings never traded all those picks for Hershel. They would have had a 90s Vikings dynasty

Este es un video famoso del frente pacífico de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
En estas dramáticas escenas se observa cómo el crucero USS Alaska logra impactar en el último momento a un Kamikaze antes de que impacte contra el portaaviones USS Intrepid.
