Today’s #socialmediatip - if recent events have shown us anything, it’s to never rely on any one channel to be your go to content hub. It amazes me how many biz/orgs still invest all their content capital into a channel they Do not own and that can change the rules at anytime.

Managing B2B #socialmedia? You have the advantage of being able to talk about yourself more so than if you were B2C. Your audience may be smaller, but they are deeply interested in your expertise and products/services you offer. Showcase yourself. #socialmediatips

@NickStoneTweets Very true. I feel the responsibility lies with both the social media professional and the one(s) they report to. Education on best practices must be constant while openness of what is being recommended must remain. Not always easy, but both can make it work.
If you are posting the same thing at the same time across all your social channels, why would anyone follow you? Give people a reason. Create unique value for the channels you are on. #socialmedia#socialmediatip
