@StacySta25212@catturd2 So your friend's potentially bogus code was rejected outright because they offered no transparency... and they went with a vendor who presumably did offer the required transparency, even if you personally feel the vendor has some connection to businesspeople who work at scale.
@NRSC Oh, look! A "poll" run by a stakeholder in the results, targeted at folks who likely side with the stakeholder. And, of all things, it's about bias. How dumb do you take your audience to be?! GTFOH.
@2b_line@Kharn_300BO@RealSpikeCohen Under Jones, only US-flagged ships can bring shipments "internally" from one US port to another of our own ports.
Imports, from anywhere else, will obviously; largely come via foreign-flagged vessels. I believe Dali was to be underway from Baltimore to Sri Lanka.
@dgstpoker @Jayrowes93 @GemFinderKing@OnlyBangersEth "Gas can" having a few potential meanings. That term to most Americans would suggesy the red and yellow gasoline containers meant for vehicles and equipment fuel.
A much smaller can of "Zippo" lighter fluid or butane aerosol also fits that description and could be pocket-sized.
@realDerekUtley How many op-ed “news” personalities get taken on outings or meet-and-greets with candidates?
If Carlson wasn’t just that, an op-ed “journalist” and was to be treated as a true news man it would be a huge conflict of interest regardless of which candidate or party is involved.
@wildforcongress Local law enforcement can already activate the existing Emergency Alert System (EAS) at their option for such situations, no? Why would you need an entirely new dedicated system?
@jordanbpeterson As a psychologist you think you’d have been calling out the idealistic notion of “happily ever after” and whatnot as the “propaganda” and unrealistic benchmarks they are of the (dys)functioning world.
@_arlow@jordanbpeterson Comments TL;DR. Surprised I did not readily scroll over any that tried to hit back at the “propaganda” of things like handsome princes, beautiful princesses, and the general notion of “happily ever after” being a bill of goods.
So, there; now someone’s covered those for sure.
@immaculens@FoxNews Shocked that Fox is running a story based on a CDC-issued recall after all the noise they’ve made about how the CDC supposedly doesn’t seem even know which way is up. I mean, even if there is a problem we can probably all just run out and get some gerbil de-louser, right?
@FoxNews@FoxNews: “The CDC is lying to you about COVID-19. Nothing to worry over - CDC ”
Also @FoxNews: “Throw out your JiF due to possible salmonella. Quick! The CDC said so!”
I mean, it’s probably all overblown and a scare tactic, right?
@CarlaHSands If you are a current candidate for political office anywhere (and you are) I think we should be concerned that you lack sufficient understanding such that you floated this question in a public forum.
P.S. Who indirectly supports your run?
@johnrobertsFox@GregAbbott_TX@FoxNews@NBCNews@cspan@johnrobertsFox : What other corroborating information goes with this photograph to support your claim as to what is shown? It’s a charter bus with a few brown-skinned passengers disembarking. Plenty of companies use chartered bussing.
@leannmartineau @WhatevrNvrmind @RSBNetwork For what it’s worth (however little that is) I never followed this Twitter feed and yet somehow I saw this post. A bit presumptuous to believe others didn’t just happen to see it and give it more than a passing look.
All of that obviously not to say they’re blameless if road or venue staff failed to act but performers themselves aren’t in a great position to necessarily call out a situation during a performance no matter their proximity to a situation.
@chadbensonshow If I heard him correctly he’s saying that he has stopped shows in the past when issues were noticed from the stage. He didn’t notice anything in this case. And they may not reliably see it themselves with lights blazing and in-ear monitors to hear the stage mix.
