Building a Healthier Nigeria Through Stronger Healthcare Systems
As part of our desire and commitment to building a healthier Nigeria, I met with some healthcare professionals and experts in the United States on Friday, June 5, 2026. The meeting was essentially to deepen my understanding of how successful health insurance systems deliver improved healthcare, especially in the areas of primary and emergency care.
One of our key health objectives remains unchanged: to expand health insurance coverage, strengthen primary healthcare across our electoral wards, train more healthcare workers, and make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all Nigerians.
A New Nigeria must be a healthier Nigeria.
A New Nigeria is possible. -PO
Zik is the most selfish Nigerian politician ever.
If he was a president today, he'll be worst than buhari and Tinubu put together.
Prior to independence, Nigeria was facing a regional tension between South and the north, some southern politicians suggested to Nnamdi Azikiwe about a plan for the south to break away from Northern Nigeria. Due to zik's desperation to become the first president of Nigeria, he rejected this idea.
The same power hungry zik, left the under developed Eastern region in the 1950s and went to Lagos, the western region to contest for election, if not that Awolowo used tribalism to kick him out.
The same zik was on the side of Ojukwu when the Biafran war started, but as soon he saw that Britain was on the side of Nigeria and they were winning the war, he switched allegiance to Nigerian side.
Zik is not a trust worthy.
You call him a celebrity, but in Onitsha his hometown, he's not even celebrated.
Please do not insult Ojukwu by comparing him to zik who was Britain's errand boy.
Thank you.

It was a great honour and privilege to have flown with His Excellency, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. We had a quick conversation on politics and what the future holds for dear our nation. A distinguished elderstatesman whose love for a functioning country transcends selfish political interests.
One day, in a not too far future, I hope to see him lead this country.
