The larger of the two younger beaver is around 40-45 cm in length.

I’ve also seen two young beavers .This is the smaller at roughly 30 cm in length. I feel so lucky to have had such a close encounter at only 1m (look out for the video)

I have also witnessed another smaller individual I believe to be a sub adult it lacks in the confidence of its parents and sits deeper in the water.

The largest individual of this Kent Beaver family appears to be this one I expect this to be the female. Female beavers grow to around 1 m in length as well as having a extra 30 cm of tail. @KentWildlife @BeaverTrust

Beaver are one of the most fantastic mammals we have here in the uk they do so much for the eco system and are a key stone species this is what makes it so important to restore and look after our beaver populations I was lucky enough to photograph loca beavers last year 🦫 .
