Finally closed all my accounts at @RBC due to its poor record on ethical investing. I'm a bit embarrassed that it took so long but happy to have a (slightly) clearer conscience.
Even when you’re in the midst of an intense protest being driven back by police, you gotta point out the woman with the pigeon on her head. https://t.co/pYU2FvbBrb
Nothing in Bill 64 is for our kids. It is a power grab by the PC government that weakens parental influence in education. #redforedmb https://t.co/PkGHPYh27u
@WabKinew So insulting. Will the premier next offer tax breaks for doctors who buy their own surgical equipment? Nurses who purchase their own syringes? Paramedics who pay for ambulance gas? Unbelievable.
@RussellJonson @WabKinew This is for sure one of the provincial government’s goals. That, and reducing bargaining power. But they have no idea how different the school divisions are from each other. This is going to creat utter chaos.
@CameronFriesen Ideally, the medical professionals would be local (even better, members of the congregation). Much of my family is from rural Manitoba and I believe this is the only way to reach some of them. This should be centrally coordinated on a large scale.
@CameronFriesen Vaccine
Hello, I have an idea about how to battle vaccine hesitation. Have doctors and other medical professionals go to churches and present to the congregations. Q&A sessions could follow.
@roussin_brent medical professionals could present their cases for vaccinations to churches and could then engage in Q&As. This could be coordinated jointly through the province and other medical organizations, such as the College of Physicians.
@roussin_brent Hi Dr. Roussin. I have an idea to help build vaccine confidence: Have doctors and other health care workers speak at churches. These should be local medical practitioners (ideally, members of the congregation) if possible.
