❗️A former French Mirage 2000-5F fighter jet in service with the Ukrainian Air Force has, for the first time in history, shot down a Russian small-sized cruise missile S8000 “Banderol” using an aircraft cannon.
The aircraft’s primary gun armament consists of two 30 mm DEFA 554 automatic cannons built into the fuselage.
A Russian Su-35 accidentally shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter in a friendly fire incident over Voronezh last night, mistaking it for a Ukrainian drone.
❗️Japan plans to reopen discussions on providing or selling weapons to Ukraine, including Patriot interceptors, according to former Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera. Japan operates 24 Patriot batteries and domestically manufactures PAC-3 interceptors under license from Lockheed Martin. Onodera said legal and government policy restrictions remain, but Tokyo intends to begin internal discussions on possible next steps following his visit to Kyiv. #Ukraine
🇺🇦🚀 Only 12 countries can produce ballistic missiles, and Ukraine is now among them, — WSJ
Ukrainian FP-7 missile makes it possible to destroy Russian bunkers, bridges, and other hardened targets that long-range drones are practically incapable of.
🔥 Putin didn’t want an energy ceasefire — well, Volgograd and Samara had to take the hit
Yesterday, during his supposedly world-changing yet ridiculous address, Putin rejected the idea of stopping strikes on oil refineries and called such a proposal “laughable.”
So the night in Volgograd was filled with explosions. The governor confirmed a massive drone attack on industrial infrastructure. Residents are posting footage of a huge glow over the southern part of the city, while local reports say there was a fire near the Volgograd oil refinery and the Kaustik chemical plant.
In the Samara region, the Ukrainian side has already confirmed a strike on an oil facility. The region spent several hours responding to drone attacks, while the governor reported intercepted UAVs.
So the pause in strikes on Russia’s oil infrastructure ended pretty quickly.
Trump may now have reason to get nervous that his requests went unanswered.
❗️President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with members of the House of Representatives of the Japanese parliament, led by Itsunori Onodera, and stressed that it is important for Japan and other partners to clearly understand the risks posed by Russian attacks. He described a Shahed drone strike on a school during classes, shelling of the Southern Bridge in Kyiv, and ongoing attacks on energy infrastructure, thanked Japan for its economic and humanitarian support since the start of the full-scale war, and agreed to continue active communication on bilateral relations and the security of Ukraine, Japan, and other democratic countries.
Přijdeš do sousední země rozsévat zkázu a ještě se obrátíš k Bohu, aby ti s tímhle zvráceným úkolem pomohl. Nicméně ten modlitbu celkem pochopitelně nevyslyšel. Na rozdíl od dronařů z praporu Hatylo 🇺🇦, kteří okupantům seslali z nebe poměrně dost výmluvné znamení 💥☠️
