Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, former York County PA District Attorney, U.S. Navy Vet, Proud Husband and Father. Retweets and likes do not equal endorsement.
One year in, I’m still an optimist.
Because I’ve seen what’s possible when we work together-taking on deadly drugs, protecting kids, standing up for seniors, and building safer communities in every corner of the Commonwealth and everywhere in between.
In Pennsylvania, we are blessed with extraordinarily dedicated law enforcement. Together we removed over 56 million doses of fentanyl from our communities last year, and we are attacking the supply of these poisons wherever they try to hide.
To anyone struggling with addiction: please don’t give up. Long term recovery is real. I’ve seen it time and time again.
The mental health crisis in Pennsylvania doesn’t stop with the general population. It hits our first responders and law enforcement too. They see the worst of the worst, every day, often understaffed.
My office is doing everything we can to have their backs, because they always have ours.
Our hearts are heavy with the news of an officer killed in the line of duty. Officer Kristen Yeager’s watch was ended while responding to a call for service Friday evening.
Please join me in praying for her family and friends and the Central Berks Regional Police Department as they mourn the loss of their wife, mother, colleague and friend.
Each and every day law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect our communities never knowing what that shift may bring their way. This tragedy reminds us that there is no routine day for them which makes their service even more remarkable and worthy of our support.
For Jewish American Heritage Month, Attorney General Dave Sunday reflects on experiences he has had throughout the Commonwealth this past year. To our Jewish community, we hope this month has been full of light and love.
Attorney General Sunday is opposing the KIDS Act, arguing that the bill would weaken states' ability to protect children online while insulating Big Tech from accountability. "The advancement of technology and public safety cannot be mutually exclusive," Attorney General Dave Sunday said. "As state policy makers, we have a responsibility to act... We cannot wait until after the crash to put up the guard rails. Let me be clear — if social media companies will not protect their users, especially our children, from the harmful effects of their platforms, I will use every tool that I have to hold them accountable." https://t.co/V3hbuXqryi
My approach to the world starts with one belief: we have the power within ourselves to create our own path and our own direction. That road can be difficult, but the adversity makes us stronger.
That’s not just something I believe, it’s something I’ve seen proven time and again throughout my life. No matter what you’re facing, you are in control of the way you respond. That is both a responsibility and a gift.
Memorial Day marks the start of sunnier days and warmer weather, but it has a solemn purpose. Today, we remember and honor the brave soldiers who gave their lives fighting for this country, and for our freedom. At the Office of Attorney General, we pray for those we’ve lost, and the ones they left behind.
God Bless America.
On Armed Forces Day, we are thankful to all active members of our military, for their dedication to protecting our country. May is Military Appreciation Month, and Attorney General Dave Sunday has a special message for everyone who has put their life on the line for this country, past and present.
I met directly with Pennsylvania students this year to hear about the impact of social media and AI on their mental health. What I heard was clear: these platforms are causing real harm, and tech companies need to be held accountable.
My office will keep pushing to protect kids and families online.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we are celebrating the release of this year’s TeenTALK report, focused on students and how their relationship with social media is impacting their mental health.
We heard the many ways these students are interacting with social media and what they are experiencing every single day because of it. What we found is that these students want help, and we hope this report can lead to the conversations needed to find solutions.
You can ready more about TeenTALKs and read the report here: https://t.co/xQgW9Pu1Ug
Is reentry a get out of jail free card? No.
It’s the recognition that accountability and redemption go hand in hand. You serve your time, you do the work, society gives you another chance.
It leads to stronger, and safer, communities for all of us.
That’s not a partisan idea. It’s a human one.

A major Northeast Philadelphia fentanyl ring has been taken down

Yesterday, I had the distinct honor of giving the keynote address at my Alma Mater, Widener Commonwealth Law School. As a veteran and nontraditional student, Widener provided an opportunity in the Evening Division that allowed for me to continue working at UPS while pursuing my dream of becoming an attorney. So proud of these graduates! God Speed. 🇺🇸
