@gylesnamopaleen This is exactly what Westminster DON'T want. They want devision, anger and hatred so they can have an excuse for staying as a peace keeping force. Well done to everyone involved who are shining a peace keeping light on .
A massive thank you to the Artists For Gaza for organising this important event, raising money in support of Health Workers for Palestine 🇵🇸

We the fans already own @CelticFC .
Between 1995 and 2003 the club sold shares to more than 30,000 supporters.
Most were never sold on. They sit in drawers, in lofts, at old addresses, on certificates nobody has looked at in twenty years.
Taken together those holdings are worth about 15.9% of Celtic’s ordinary shares, roughly the same as the club’s largest institutional investor Lindsell Train.
On Friday Celtic appointed two directors through a committee that has lost two of its three members, with no search process disclosed to anyone. The answer to that is not a complaint. It is a vote. Find your shares. Register them at https://t.co/wc3LbVYuSp
In November, use them.

Celtic supporters already own a piece of this club. Most have never been asked to use it.
We sat down with @PaulJohnDykes on @ACSOMPOD to go through the resolution Celtic Supporters Limited is putting to shareholders at this year's AGM.
The ask is simple. Celtic's own registrar, Computershare, runs a tracing service called Georgeson. It reunites shareholders and their families with shares and dividends they have lost touch with. It is used by National Grid, Hansa Investment Company and Finsbury Growth and Income Trust, the last of which is managed by Lindsell Train, the club's second largest shareholder.
It is paid on a contingent fee, deducted only from what is recovered, so there is no upfront cost to the company. Our resolution asks the board to appoint them and report back to shareholders at the next AGM.
Why it matters. There are over 27,000 holders of @CelticFC ordinary shares. 8,224 of them hold exactly one. Most bought in the 1990s. Through house moves, deaths and unsettled estates a growing number are now classed as untraced. They get no report and accounts, they cannot attend or vote, and under the articles a dividend left unclaimed for twelve years may be forfeited.
No shareholder should reasonably object to shareholders being reunited with their own property.
Where we are. The legal threshold is 100 direct registered shareholders. We have 240 signatures in total. We are still collecting, because a bigger number is a stronger one, and everything has to be with Celtic by early October.

@hippyygoat Theres your overwhelming sense of entitlement, brought about by the Israeli/ American governments continued genocide. A zero call for accountability from other countries plays it's part also.
Colonialism is the exploitation and subjection of the weak by the powerful, of the many by the few, of the governed who given no consent to be governed. - JFK
Celtic has over 27,000 holders of ordinary shares. Thousands of them the club can no longer reach.
Most bought in the 1990s to save the club. Wrong addresses, thirty years on. Untraced does not mean gone. The shares are still theirs.
What they get: no accounts, no vote, and on the prefs no dividend. Under Celtic’s own Articles, a dividend unclaimed for twelve years can be forfeited to the company.
We asked the board on 2nd June. The answer was “within the normal range”. No number.
So we are putting a resolution to the November AGM. It asks Celtic to appoint Georgeson, the tracing arm of Computershare, already Celtic’s registrar. No new supplier. No upfront cost. The fee comes only from what is recovered. Lindsell Train, Celtic’s second largest shareholder, already uses it.
Costs the club nothing. Names nobody.
We need 100 Celtic shareholders to sign by end of September.
Not 100 CSL members. 100 shareholders. You do not need to be a member of anything. Two minutes. Free. One share from 1995 counts the same as ten thousand.

Then send this to every Celtic shareholder you know. Your family. Your club. The people you sit beside. Most of them have a certificate in a drawer and have never been asked.
100 names. That is the whole ask.
