@CLEsportsTalk Monken’s answer makes total sense. He would be a horrible coach if he based decisions on fan ‘advice’. I never wanted Watson on the team in the first place - but agree he should be qb1 at this time
@DitchdiggerBill@CLEsportsTalk I agree with u. I didn’t want him for the same reason as u stated. It seems he’s lost confidence both from physical ailments and listening to the outside noise.
@dan_labbe Social media decision? Placating the fanbase? Who cares - whoever is the most ‘marketable’ should not figure in on this decision. Not a Watson fan - but this was the decision you should have expected
@clevelanddotcom It’s what u should’ve expected. We should also expect a fairly short leash. Honestly, does any of this really matter? The sooner the team is out from under Watson’s contract and can re-start with a new qb, the better. Pretty certain the qb of the future is not on the roster
@MaryKayCabot It’s the right thing to do. Start the season with Watson. If (when) he falters then u can go on to someone else. Spit in the face of the fans? He should not make decisions based on what a fanbase has to say.
@dan_labbe Watson could have shut the idle talk and booing by have a good game. He was playing with and against lesser players (shouldn’t that have led him to being the ‘best guy out on the field?) The fans get no pass here either - shame for booing him…especially last time when injured)
@NEWSMAX C’mon Senator - stop following the lead of your party’s obstruction against EVERYTHING the President is attempting to do. Exactly WHY is this candidate not right for the job? Did Senator Shummer give u this order?
@SenFettermanPA I just watched the Senate Committee hearing about whether to hold Dr Fauci in contempt. I was disappointed that u stayed in lockstep with Dems. If Fauci had any defense, he didn’t need to plead the fifth. Doesn’t he have a pardon?
