@NPARGH@mottsmith I knocked on doors of registered voters for Bernie. The app we used would urge you to try and convince people to fill out their ballot if they'd been mailed one, but in 100s of doors I was never able to.
Hard to see why anyone but a sore loser would object to that practice.
@_carlbeijer Most of the "language engineering" of the 2010s was allowing some terms to be less rigid in their meaning. This was a specific target of the reactionary backlash, specifically because of what this new fluidity allowed to be communicated.
